100,000 to 140,000 to own electrical design at principal level

100,000 to 140,000 for a principal electrical engineer in London who is ready to own the discipline, not just a project within it.This is a well established mechanical and electrical building services consultancy in London working across commercial, residential and mixed use schemes. They are appointing a principal to lead the electrical discipline, set technical standards and help win and shape the work, which is real seniority rather than a grand title. The role exists because the practice is busy and needs senior electrical leadership to match. You would lead major electrical designs, set the technical direction, mentor senior and junior engineers alike, and play a part in business development and client relationships.

You would have genuine influence over how the discipline runs and the kind of work it takes on, with the backing of an established firm and the autonomy that a principal should expect. This suits a chartered electrical building services engineer with substantial design and leadership experience who wants to run a discipline and shape a practice. Salary is between 100,000 and 140,000.The fastest way to know whether this is the right move is a short and confidential conversation, so reach out even if you only want to understand the role, the salary and the progression on offer in more detail. If leading electrical engineering at principal level appeals, send your CV.
