Senior CAD Engineer – Machine Control & Infrastructure Modelling Oxfordshire Tier 1 Contractor Major Infrastructure Project on an RAF Base We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major infrastructure package on a live RAF base in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CAD professional with strong experience in machine control modelling, highways/asphalt projects, and civil infrastructure coordination to play a key role on a high-profile project. Key Responsibilities Produce and manage accurate CAD and 3D machine control models Coordinate interfaces between planning, asphalt, surveying, and site delivery teams Support machine control setup and digital engineering workflows Develop and maintain terrain models, alignments, and construction drawings Liaise with operational teams to ensure models are delivered to programme requirements Ensure compliance with project and client standards Requirements Proven experience as a Senior CAD Engineer or similar within civil engineering/infrastructure Strong knowledge of machine control modelling and digital engineering workflows Experience with highways, asphalt, earthworks, or large infrastructure schemes Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Experience with Trimble, Leica, or Topcon machine control systems preferred Strong coordination and communication skills Ability to work within a fast-paced Tier 1 contracting environment What’s on Offer Long-term major project exposure Opportunity to work on a secure, high-profile RAF infrastructure scheme Competitive salary/package Collaborative Tier 1 contractor environment Career progression within a growing digital engineering team
