Mechanical Fitter Location: Workshop & Site Based Hours: 40 hours per week * Workshop: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm * Site: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm Pay Rate: £19.05 per hour/£762 per week What's on Offer: * £19.05 per hour. * 40-hour working week * A varied role combining workshop and site-based engineering. * Opportunity to join a skilled and supportive engineering team. Key Responsibilities: * Installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical plant and equipment. * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs. * Install and commission new mechanical equipment. * Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs. * Work both within the workshop and at customer sites. * Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures. * Complete job documentation accurately and maintain high-quality workmanship. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical engineering role. * Strong fault-finding and mechanical repair skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good understanding of health and safety practices. * Full UK driving licence (essential)
