Electrician - BESS Site Job Overview We are currently recruiting experienced Project Site Electricians to work on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing sector within the renewable energy industry, supporting electrical installation works on a high-profile infrastructure site. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation works across the BESS project site Install, terminate, and test electrical systems and equipment Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation Support commissioning and energisation activities where required Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and industry standards Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with health & safety regulations Work collaboratively with site management and other trades on site Essential Requirements Relevant Electrical Trade Qualifications Proven experience working as a site electrician within industrial, construction, or energy environments Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures Ability to work independently and within a team environment Desirable Experience Previous experience working on BESS sites or similar HV / renewable energy projects Experience within substations, energy infrastructure, or industrial installations ECS / JIB accreditation advantageous Working Hours & Rates 45 hours per week £32 per hour Umbrella / CIS payment Inside IR35 Contract Details Contract position Immediate starts available subject to onboarding and site clearance Apply Interested candidates should submit an up-to-date CV along with copies of relevant qualifications and certifications
