Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in enterprise integration, API architecture, governance and MuleSoft to support a major transformation programme within a leading automotive organisation. This role will be responsible for defining integration strategies, governing architectural standards and delivering scalable API-led solutions across a complex enterprise landscape. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams and enterprise architecture functions. Define and maintain enterprise integration and API architecture standards. Lead solution architecture activities across multiple programmes and projects. Design scalable, secure and reusable integration solutions. Establish and govern API-first principles and best practice. Produce high-level and low-level solution designs. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners and Delivery Teams. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Lead architecture governance forums and design authority reviews. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps. Support vendor and third-party integration initiatives. Drive adoption of reusable integration patterns and frameworks. Manage architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification Azure DevOps / Security certifications (advantageous)
