Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Year 6 | Barking, East London

Remedy Education is looking for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Barking, East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong classroom experience and excellent English subject knowledge to support Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their SATs and transition to secondary school.

The Role

Location: Barking, East London

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Year Group: Year 6

Pay: £120-£140 per day

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Focus: Year 6 classroom support and English

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar teaching support role.

Strong English subject knowledge, particularly at upper primary level.

Confident leading lessons, delivering interventions and supporting whole-class learning.

Able to motivate pupils and support preparation for SATs.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
