Front of House / Bar Supervisor – Members' Club
Kingswear, Dartmouth, Devon
Join the front-of-house team at the Royal Dart Yacht Club in Kingswear, Dartmouth.
The Club is looking for a Front of House / Bar Supervisor to help run its bar, dining room and terrace. You will take charge of shifts, support colleagues, look after members and guests and help deliver Club events.
Your responsibilities
· Coordinate opening, service and close-down routines.
· Welcome members and guests and maintain attentive, professional service.
· Brief and support colleagues, allocate duties and help with training.
· Follow EPOS, cash-handling, stock-control and bar procedures.
· Maintain cleanliness, presentation, licensing and responsible alcohol-service standards.
· Coordinate with the kitchen on service timings, menus and allergen information.
· Support formal dinners, regatta hospitality, prize-givings and private functions.
About you
You will have worked in a bar, restaurant, hotel or similar setting and know what good service looks like. You should be reliable, organised and comfortable helping colleagues through a busy shift. Supervisory experience is an advantage, but yacht-club experience is not needed.
Terms
Remuneration is discussed confidentially. Relocation and accommodation packages are available for discussion. Evening and weekend attendance may be required to support service and Club events.
