The company are a manufacturer of special purpose machinery and due to continued success, require a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in the Alcester area.

Role Purpose: Assemble and test bespoke machinery from design drawings to meet client specifications Salary
- £33000
- £37000 per annum Key Responsibilities; Build machine structures, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand and power tools, ensuring precise fits for bearings, gears, and shafts.
Install hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, and actuators according to schematics.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults during assembly and testing, collaborating with design engineers to implement solutions.
Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers) to ensure accuracy.
Adhere strictly to Health & Safety and quality standards (ISO).
Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience of mechanical fitting / machine building.
Strong experience in special purpose machinery and automation.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and layouts.
Proficiency in fitting and using workshop equipment.
Key Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
The role is Days
- Monday to Friday withinan early finish on Friday.
