You will:Develop and deliver our preventative and corrective maintenance on our electrical systemsDiagnose and repair faults in plant equipment and automation systemsProvide electrical expertise to improve plant performance and reliabilityWork in compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standardsSupport the training and development of the electrical team and othersDevelop and deliver improvement activities and technical investigationsYou’ll be working with systems such as PLCs, digital drives and AC/DC motors, will interpret technical drawings and ensure maintenance is completed to high engineering standards. What you will needYou’ll ideally be qualified to HNC/degree level and have:Relevant plant or heavy industrial experienceAn excellent understanding of modern electrical systems and safety protocolsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsThe ability to work independently and under pressureExperience of managing a teamGood IT and communication skillsFor a full job description or if you’d like an informal discussion, please contact:sue.robinson@tatasteeleurope.comWhat we can offer youTata Steel UK offers their employees significant benefits packages.
