CNC Programmer

Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri – 8am-4:30pm We’re on the lookout for CNC Programmers to join a global manufacturing leader with state of the art facilities, based in Ely.  you’ll be working out of a multistorey site, with an onsite canteen, entertainment spaces and direct train routes, assembling and packaging products which are considered the gold standards in their industry. You’ll support R&D and manufacturing departments with programming and machining of new components. You’ll take an active role in process improvements, promoting collaboration with different departments. What are we looking for? Working knowledge of fanuc based vertical mills / 5-axis mills Micro-level prevision, machine loading and operation experience, with basic understanding of engineering drawings, with knowledge of CAD/CAM Systems Qualifications: Apprenticeship trained or similar Experience: 5 years + Sliding head Lathes – Highly Desirable 5-Axis mills and wire EDM - nice to haveWhat’s in it for you?
