Forklift Truck Driver / Telehandler Operator (Rail Engineering) * Location: Sherburn in Elmet * Job Type: Guaranteed Hours Contract (Minimum 40 hours/week, PAYE or Umbrella) * Shift Pattern: 4-on-4-off shift pattern * Pay Rates: * Days: £14.50 / hour * Nights: £15.25 / hour * Weekends: £16.00 / hour About the Role We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Forklift Truck Driver / Telehandler Operator to join a busy rail engineering parts stores facility in Sherburn in Elmet. Working on a structured 4-on-4-off shift pattern, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic warehouse environment and wants guaranteed weekly hours with competitive shift premiums. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate FLT and telehandler equipment to move materials and lift pallets across the site. * Assist within the warehouse and stores environment during peak times. * Work collaboratively with team members and other drivers to ensure efficient material handling. * Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries of equipment and materials. * Prepare, kit, and stage components to ensure engineering teams are fully equipped before works begin. * Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with site health and safety standards. Role Requirements * Valid, in-date FLT Licence with verifiable training evidence/certificate. * Telehandler experience or ticket is highly advantageous. * Previous forklift experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or stores environment is preferred. * A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. * Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and ability to adapt to a 4-on-4-off rota
