Structural Fabricator / Welder - Night Shift Location: Bamber Bridge ________________________________________ The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Structural Fabricator / Welder to join a manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator with structural steelwork and welding experience to work within a fast-paced engineering environment delivering high-quality products to demanding standards. ________________________________________ The Role The successful candidate will carry out structural fabrication and welding activities, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and to high quality standards while meeting production deadlines. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities * Perform structural fabrication work with a high degree of accuracy * Weld steel components and structures using solid and flux-cored wire * Carry out welding in vertical and overhead positions * Read and interpret engineering drawings * Use hand tools, grinders, mag drills, and associated fabrication equipment * Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including use of PPE/RPE and LEV systems * Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and housekeeping * Complete required paperwork, inspections, and checks * Work independently and collaboratively within the team ________________________________________ About You * Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding * Ability to weld to ISO 9606 qualification standards (qualification desirable) * Experience with overhead and vertical welding positions * Flux-cored welding experience advantageous * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Good communication and teamwork skills * Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset ________________________________________ What's on Offer * Opportunity to work within a well-established engineering business * Varied and technically interesting work * Supportive team environment * Long-term career opportunities and skill development ________________________________________ Interested?
