THE ROLE

As the Assistant Gas Engineer, you’ll support experienced engineers with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of gas systems and associated equipment across the site.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll gain valuable engineering experience while developing technical knowledge within a highly regulated and safety-focused environment. xwzovoh

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting qualified engineers with maintenance and installations
• Assisting with inspections and safety checks
• Following health & safety procedures and company processes
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas
• Completing documentation and job records accurately
• Supporting day-to-day operational activities across the site
• Developing technical knowledge through structured training

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent awareness of health & safety procedures
• Reliable and adaptable approach to work
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable working within a hands-on engineering environment
• Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience within engineering, mechanical maintenance, logistics, operations, facilities management, utilities, or military environments would be beneficial.
