As a Senior in our Business Advisory team, youll take ownership of preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT submissions, and delivering insightful financial information to a wide range of clients.

This is a hands-on role that offers real variety, autonomy, and the chance to mentor junior team members while continuing to grow your own expertise.

What you'll be doing day to day Prepare financial information and year-end accounts for a wide range of clients, both businesses and individuals Prepare management accounts, forecasts and projections Prepare personal and company tax computations and VAT returns Provide bookkeeping services, including the recording of income and expenditure, matching transactions to bank statements and summarising expenditure types Monitor own performance on jobs against set budgets Gather information to analyse and report on income and expenditure to support decision making, planning and control Liaise with clients and colleagues across different departments in order to influence and achieve an effective outcome Highlight technical or client-specific issues and recommend possible solutions Supervise, support and coach less experienced team members About you AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience Accounting experience in a public practice environment Experience in using automated accounting software and computer-based accounts and tax compilation programmes; plus proficient MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills Ability to work independently and take responsibility for managing your own and other team member workloads Ability to be calm and efficient under pressure, and respond to client enquires promptly, accurately and efficiently Confident, professional and team orientated Why work at PKF Francis Clark As the largest firm of independent chartered accountants and business advisers in South West England, PKF Francis Clark offers a wide range of opportunities to develop your career in the way thats right for you.
