ResponsibilitiesHoulihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory team is looking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst to be based in our London office.As an Analyst in this team, you will be a fully integrated member of our engagement teams. You will work with a dedicated, highly talented staff of professionals who will give you broad exposure to many issues and concerns affecting businesses today.We offer a unique opportunity to work on a wealth of projects that provide exposure to various financial advisory challenges, including the valuation of complex businesses, securities, and transaction structures.ResponsibilitiesDevelop complex financial models and analyze financial statements, industry developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and various investment attributes of publicly traded and privately held companies.Support active engagements and participate in our firm’s marketing efforts.Assist in the preparation of materials for clients, conduct market, industry and company analyses.Review target company financial information and other data to identify: historical and projected financial and operating and commercial trends, quality of earnings, working capital and net debt considerations, and potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company.Requirements/Qualifications1 - 4 years of work experience at an accounting or valuation firm in a valuation capacity, or an investment bankHave strong undergraduate qualifications or higher in a relevant degreeAnalyst level experience in a product team within investment banking or experience in either valuation, business modelling, transaction advisory, corporate finance or restructuring teams at one of Big 4 Accountancy firmsHave strong demonstrable experience in constructing and analyzing financial models; including knowledge of DCF and pricing modelsExperience in conducting transaction related analysis and due diligenceUnderstanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitationsProfessional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, RICS) will be favourably regardedStrong quantitative, financial and analytical skillsStrong qualitative and quantitative research and analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAdditional language skills in German will be favorably regardedAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAn exceptional strong work ethicEqual Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
