Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You'll join the Credit Client Fulfilment team as a key player in delivering credit products and solutions across the UK and Channel Islands. This role puts you at the heart of client relationships—managing transactions from approval through to completion, ensuring we maintain both strong risk controls and exceptional client experiences.It's a permanent, full-time position based at our London or Jersey offices with 4 days on-site. You'll have the flexibility to work in an environment where relationship-building and problem-solving are genuinely valued.What will you do?Prepare, review and issue credit documentation for transactions, ensuring we stay compliant with our policies and proceduresManage transactions to successful completion and drawdown, coordinating across internal and external teams to meet all requirementsKeep a close eye on collateral and credit limits daily, flagging any issues or excess exposures promptlySet up new credit facilities in our systems, keeping credit information accurate and up to date across all databasesApprove loan drawdowns and collateral releases, including managing funding, disbursement and repayment across UK and Channel Islands operationsSupport senior team members in managing risk for complex, cross-border structures, working with external legal advisors when neededSpot opportunities to improve how we work and help roll out automation and streamlining projectsSupport compliance and audit requests by collaborating efficiently on data gatheringWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveSolid background in credit administration and loan documentation within private or commercial bankingStrong grasp of control requirements and how to balance these with getting things done efficientlyGreat interpersonal, investigative, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently without constant directionA commercial mindset, genuine client focus, and excellent written and spoken EnglishMeticulous attention to detail with consistently accurate workNice-to-haveDegree in Banking & Finance, Business, Accounting, or similar qualificationBackground in risk management or credit underwritingFamiliarity with Wealth Management credit businessKnowledge of digital transformation and automation in bankingWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best – progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
