Experienced Architectural Metalwork Installer required for a 3‑month contract across Kent. Install balconies, balustrades and metalwork on live sites while leading labour on site. £20–£25 per hour. Subcontract or PAYE fixed‑term options available.

Contract Architectural Metalwork Installer / Lead Installer
A specialist construction client is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Metalwork Installer on a 3‑month contract. This role suits a confident installer who can take ownership on-site and support less-experienced labour.

The role
You will be installing high‑quality architectural metalwork across multiple live construction sites while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Installation of balconies
• Internal and external stair balustrades
• Architectural metalwork
• Some structural steel elements
• Travelling between multiple sites
• Leading and coordinating labourers where required
• Ensuring work meets client and company quality expectations
• Working in line with site health and safety requirements
What we’re looking for
Essential requirements
• Valid CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue) Card
• Qualification in Architectural Metalwork or Structural Steel
• Proven experience installing architectural metalwork
• Ability to lead and guide other workers on site
• Strong understanding of health and safety
• Flexibility to travel across Kent and nearby areas
Desirable
• IPAF ticket
• PASMA ticket
• Broader exposure to structural steel work
