In this role you will be working towards completing a Level 3 Business Administration Main purpose of the role The automotive administrator apprentice is responsible for the assessment of prior approval claims submitted by the OEM dealer network and carrying out the supporting administration. Support kit request from dealers All claims should be assessed and approved in accordance with manufacturers Policies and Procedures and always provide information and recommendations. Claims should be authorised, amended or rejected accordingly. The Aautomotive Claims Assessor will provide remote support for the dealer network on correct claim submission and policy guidance Candidate Responsibilities Working in a team of up to five assessors in an open plan office Record data as required into a bespoke computer application (training provided) Assess claims on OEM systems and liaise with and where required the dealer via telephone and e-mail Ensure all data is aligned with all the correct processes, technical bulletins and campaigns Proactively find all relevant data and identify clearly the reasons for accepting, amending or rejecting claims Administer the necessary documentation to support the claims Accept and attempt to resolve enquiries from Customer Retailers (and Customer personnel) via a Communications / Systems entry methodology Complete all work to a minimum quality requirement assessed by MSXI and customer management Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will want to develop their administration and customer service experience Interest in motor vehicle Educated to GCSE Mathematics and English C or equivalent grade 5 or above Customer experience would be judged a significant advantage Confident with the use of telephones, computers and web-based applications Work to tight time schedule, producing and maintaining a high level of quality Flexible to cover additional hours around holidays, sickness and peak trends PC literacy is essential Competencies and Skills required Team player but must have a pro-active approach and provide new ideas for continuous improvement. Process orientated with attention to detail Logical thought processes; inquisitive and capable of non-leading questioning Must have good written and verbal communication ability as well as demonstrating a high standard of interpersonal skills Can demonstrate a high degree of being able to work on own initiative and motivation Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive personality Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the brand. Strong business acumen, customer focus and automotive knowledge Strong organizational and time management skills Working hours 40 hours per week 8 to 5 Monday to Friday from The Colchester office, will be an option for remote working What we offer Raising to £26,500.00 (Living wage) on completion of qualification.
