PERMANENT CONTRACT FROM DAY 1 Shifts & Pay Rates: Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday Shift Patterns 18:00pm - 04:30am : £15.50 p/h £18.44 p/h, Overtime after 40hrs 20:00pm - 06:30am : £15.75 p/h £18.69 p/h, Overtime after 40hrs FULL TRAINING PROVIDED OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL DUE TO SITE LOCATION Omnia Resourcing is excited to be recruiting for a brand-new warehouse site in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to join from day one and build a long-term career within a growing operation. We are currently recruiting for a Yard Marshall to support yard and vehicle operations in a busy and fast-paced environment. This is a key role focused on ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, supporting smooth loading and unloading processes across the site. Yard Marshall - Purpose of the Role: To coordinate vehicle movements on site, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations while supporting overall warehouse flow. Yard Marshall - Key Responsibilities: Coordinating vehicle movements to ensure efficient loading and unloading Directing incoming and outgoing traffic to designated areas Monitoring yard operations to ensure full safety compliance Identifying and reporting hazards promptly Managing trailer allocation and tracking available yard space Communicating effectively with drivers and warehouse teams Supporting smooth workflow across yard and warehouse operations Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health and safety procedures Maintaining a clean and organised yard environmentYard Marshall - Requirements: Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good awareness of health and safety practices Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Reliable and proactive approach to work Own transport required due to locationYard Marshall - Pre-employment Checks: DBS check required Drug and Alcohol test requiredBenefits of working as a Yard Marshall: Full training provided - start your career with confidence Exciting opportunity to join a brand-new site from day one Permanent employment from day one Supportive team environmentIf you're looking for a fresh start and a long-term opportunity in logistics, apply today!
