Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Salary: £26,800 – £40,100 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Think FE is recruiting a Lecturer in Brickwork for a well-established further education college in Hull.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Brickwork professional to pass on their industry knowledge and help develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Whether you’re already teaching or looking to move from industry into education, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact on learners preparing for their careers.
The role
Delivering high-quality theoretical and practical Brickwork sessions
Planning engaging lessons that reflect current industry practice
Supporting learners to develop their skills and achieve their qualifications
Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement
Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide learners with an excellent experience
What we’re looking for
A Level 3 Brickwork qualification
A recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience delivering or teaching Brickwork
Strong practical and technical knowledge of the trade
Good communication and organisational skills
A passion for helping learners develop and progress
