Civils Site Manager

Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks projects? We’re working with a well-established civils and groundworks contractor delivering a range of projects across East Scotland, and they’re looking to bring in a Site Manager to support their growing workload. The Role You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. Typical duties include: * Managing groundworks and civils packages including foundations, drainage, roads, and external works * Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and plant operations * Driving high standards of health & safety and quality compliance * Coordinating works in line with programme and project milestones * Managing site documentation including RAMS, permits, and reports * Liaising with clients, engineers, and commercial teams What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils / groundworks * Strong technical understanding of: * Earthworks * Drainage * Foundations & substructures * Experience managing site teams and subcontractors * Good knowledge of H&S procedures and site compliance * Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) What’s on Offer * Long-term pipeline of work across East Scotland * Opportunity to work with a growing and busy contractor * Competitive salary and package * Genuine opportunity for progression within the business Interested?
