About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Security & Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, governance, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-scale cloud environments while ensuring compliance with industry security standards and cloud best practice

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce cloud infrastructure standards.
Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.

Your Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP
Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code implementation
Experience with Cloud Security Compliance and Governance
Deep understanding of:

- IAM
- VPC Networking
- Firewall Rules
- Shared VPC
- Cloud Logging Monitoring
- Security Command Center SCC
- Cloud Audit Logs
- Experience implementing CIS benchmarks and cloud security best practices
- Strong understanding of cloud resilience availability disaster recovery and operational risk management
- Experience with CICD pipelines and automated cloud deployments
  Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
