Bell Cornwall Recruitment are searching for a Licensed Conveyancer to join a well established high street law firm. The role will also involve supervising their team of 2 Conveyancers.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and lease extensions.
• Commercial property experience would be highly desirable, particularly acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences and refinancing.
• 5+ year’s post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end transaction process.
• Strong client-management skills , with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to clients who may have limited legal knowledge.

The role:

• Manage a full and varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases , ensuring transactions progress efficiently and in accordance with client requirements.
• Deal with remortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions and other residential property matters .
• Supervision of 2 Conveyancers
