The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated and dynamic Crime Duty Solicitor to work with a small team in Swansea. Managing a busy and challenging caseload, the successful Crime Duty Solicitor will attend on clients at the Police Stations, Magistrates and Crown Courts throughout the locality and prepare cases for trial accordingly. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to make a long term appointment.

The Candidate

1. must be a qualified Solicitor with Crime Duty accreditation / Higher rights
2. must have solid experience in criminal matters
3. must have strong advocacy skills
4. outstanding communication and client care skills;
5. work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines;
6. offer support / guidance to junior staff members
7. able to manage a demanding caseload, with minimal supervision
