What will the Payroll & Accounts Officer role involve?
· Managing the end-to-end payroll processes for 125 employees across multiple group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation
· Administering payroll-related data, including employee onboarding, leavers, and changes, while reconciling payroll accounts
· Facilitating payroll compliance activities, such as PAYE, pensions, benefits, and P11Ds, with oversight of payments and BACS processing
· Coordinating payroll operations for international subsidiaries through local payroll providers
· Supporting transactional finance activities outside of the payroll cycle, aiming to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll & Accounts Officer vacancy:
· Strong experience in payroll administration within a multi-entity environment, ideally within distribution or manufacturing sectors
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
· Proficient in payroll software (Brightpay preferred) and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP
· A solid background in payroll with experience of accounts being desirable
· Adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to process improvement initiatives
