Administrator (Finance)
Salary: Up to £24,785 per annum
Location: Leeds City Centre
Hours: Mon-Fri, Full-time
Full-time, Permanent Position
Our client is a global leader in title insurance and settlement services. With a strong presence across the UK, the business plays a key role in residential property transactions, supported by experienced teams committed to delivering a high‑quality and customer‑focused service.
They are now seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Administrator to join the Finance team. In this role, you will support the processing of payments and provide general administrative support, ensuring all financial transactions are handled accurately and efficiently within a fast‑paced environment.
The Key Responsibilities of the Administrator:
Process financial transactions, including banking and cheque payments
Allocate and transmit CHAPS payments accurately and within required timeframes
Take and process payments over the phone, including mortgage shortfall payments
Investigate and resolve outstanding balances on ledgers following file completion
Assist with bank reconciliations and billing processes
Support the Finance team with general administrative duties
Ensure all records and financial data are maintained accurately and up to dateThe Key Requirements of the Administrator:

Numerate with the ability to handle financial data confidently
Ability to work to deadlines and perform under pressure
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Good data entry and IT skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable approach to work
Positive and proactive attitudeDesirable:
Previous experience in an accounts, cashiering, or finance administration role (not essential)
Experience using financial systems or working in a regulated environmentPersonal Attributes:
Assertive and confident when handling financial queries
Reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic
Able to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
