Maths Teacher Location: Leyland Contract: Full-time Start Date: September 2026 Salary: From £170 per day (dependant on experience) About the Role We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Maths Teacher to join a successful and forward‑thinking Mathematics Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to begin their career in a highly supportive environment. You will deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that inspire students, foster a love of mathematics, and drive strong progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS3–KS4. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the Maths department. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and uphold strong classroom management. Take part in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole‑school initiatives. Support the academic and personal development of all learners. Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics. High expectations and a commitment to raising attainment. Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students and colleagues. A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development.
