Facilities Manager

Berry Recruitment is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a busy team in the Knaresborough area! Contract - 3 months with possibility to be extended. Pay £24.62 an hour - weekly pay Monday to Friday - 8am till 4pm Start Date - As soon as possible Location - Knaresborough - HG5 Day to Day · Manage the day-to-day facilities operation across the site, ensuring buildings, grounds and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard. · Coordinate planned and reactive facilities maintenance and ensure records are accurate and up to date within our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). · Manage and coordinate service contracts including cleaning, pest control, waste collection, PPE and other site support services. · Oversee site assets including access control systems, two-way radios, gas monitors, respiratory protective equipment (RPE), lockers and security passes. · Coordinate statutory inspections and compliance activities, including Legionella management, surface water sampling, weather station inspections and site meter monitoring. · Support the effective management of site security and facilities systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, automatic gates, intruder alarms and visitor centre facilities. What we looking for ? · Previous experience in Facilities Management or Building Services Management. · Experience managing contractors and coordinating maintenance or facilities-related activities. · A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and environmental compliance. · Strong organisational skills and the ability to quickly prioritise a varied workload. · Experience using Microsoft Office and computerised maintenance or asset management systems. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping. · The confidence to build effective working relationships quickly with operational teams, colleagues and external contractors.
