About the opportunity: We have an opportunity for a Grounds Supervisor to join us at our Finch Farm training groundtolead themaintenance oftheAcademyplaying surfacesand associatedfacilities tothe world class standards associated with Premier League football.
TheAcademyGrounds Supervisor willbe responsible forthe planning of daily,weeklyand monthly grounds maintenance tasksandwillbe thegrounds teamsface forAcademy coachesand management,listening toand dealingwith anyconcerns and problems that they have.
As part of the Finch Farm grounds management group,theAcademyGrounds Supervisorwill be closely and cooperatively working with the HeadGroundspersonofFinch Farm andFirst TeamGroundsSupervisor to ensure daily staff allocation is suitable and that equipment and other resources are prioritised for the needs of the whole site.
Whowerelooking for: Essentially, weare looking for an individual who has experience of working within an elite footballing environment specifically working within anoutdoor sportsfacility.
Our successful candidate will alsodemonstratethe following skills,knowledgeand experience:

Excellent knowledge of plant care including weeds pests and diseases.

Excellent knowledge of using machinery/tools
-
Able to inspire, train and mentor others
-
Experience working within turf-management
-
Knowledge of Health & Safety and related topics
-
Ability to prioritise workload
-
Can do attitude
-
Self-motivated and able to use initiative
-
Ability to work as a team player
Essential Qualifications
-
Level 3 NVQ in Sports-turf Management, or equivalent
-
PA1, PA2 and PA6 Spraying Qualifications
This role will be offered on a permanent contract working40 hours per week. The closing date for applications isThursday 6th August 2026.
