Senior Quantity Surveyor – Nottingham65,000 + company car or car allowance + bonus + additional benefitsI’m currently working with an established housebuilder that is looking to add an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to its commercial team.Based in Nottingham, this is a permanent opportunity working across a number of live residential developments, with responsibility for the commercial management of your developments from procurement through to completion.The role will include:Managing commercial performance across multiple developmentsControlling build costs, budgets and cash flowManaging variations and cost movementsProcuring and managing subcontract packagesReviewing valuations and commercial reportingWorking closely with Site and Construction teamsIdentifying cost-saving opportunities and managing potential overrunsMonitoring subcontractor performanceProviding commercial advice throughout the developmentThe ideal candidate will have:Strong Quantity Surveying experience within residential housebuildingGood knowledge of construction contracts and procurementExperience managing multiple developmentsStrong understanding of residential build costsGood Excel and commercial systems knowledgeA commercially minded and organised approachThe company is looking to move quickly with this appointment, so there won't be a long, drawn-out process.If you're an experienced residential Senior QS and open to hearing more, feel free to get in touch for a confidential conversation.Discipline(s): Construction, Infrastructure & Built EnvironmentJob type: Permanent
