Job DescriptionProduction of timely and accurate financial reports for the Pension Fund including annual accounts and annual report.Processing year-end adjustments e.g. accruals, valuations, etc.To provide monitoring information as required to assist in the management of the FundWork closely with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.Maintain detailed and organised financial records.Completion of statutory and statistical data returns in accordance with their requirements.The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Accountant should have:Full accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA,CIMA).Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis.Experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within Local Authority pensions.Knowledge of public sector financial regulations(LGPS).Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.What's on OfferDaily rate of 450If you're interested in this role, apply now.
