This is a fantastic opportunity in Coventry for someone who is qualified with a background in Practice or Industry. The successful Financial Accountant will have strong Financial Accounting experience. This is a hybrid position in Coventry. A qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA is essential.Job DescriptionPrepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Business partnering with internal stakeholders. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy.Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities as needed.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Accountant should have:A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g, ACCA, CIMA, ACA).Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards.Experience in preparing financial statements and handling audits.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.What's on OfferSalary dependent on the level of experience.Permanent position in Coventry offering hybrid working.
