About the role
A successful and ambitious Northern Ireland-based technology business is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its established Technical IT team. Based in Belfast, the organisation delivers technology solutions for complex case management and bespoke government and private-sector requirements.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, client-focused company that is continuing to invest in its infrastructure, cloud capability and technical services. Your RoleAs Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery, performance and continuous improvement of the organisation's infrastructure.You will provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance, while working closely with sales, professional services, development and application support teams. Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
Supporting Azure migrations, including lift-and-shift and re-platforming projects
Microsoft Azure infrastructure, networking, security and monitoring
Azure Landing Zones, RBAC, policies and governance
Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 or 2025
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and certificate services
Site-to-site and remote-access VPN configuration
F5 BIG-IP LTM, including virtual servers, pools, health monitors and iRules
Azure Application Gateway, WAF policies, SSL termination and URL-based routing
Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery and cloud migration planning
Microsoft or Cisco certifications would be advantageous, as would experience of scripting, automation and working directly with customers.You must also be eligible for Security Clearance, including having been a UK resident for at least five years with no more than 30 days spent outside the UK during that period.
