New: Pensions Associate, NQ–3 PQE, £80,000–£90,000, International Law Firm, Leeds

You'd join pensions at one of the few firms in Leeds running the discipline at real scale - a team advising a national client base out of a genuinely international platform, not a regional satellite.

The draw here is breadth: you'd advise corporate sponsors and their schemes, providers, consolidators, public sector bodies and universities - a spread of scheme types you'd rarely get across in one seat elsewhere, whether you're newly qualified or a few years in.

The work runs across advisory, transactional and project-based mandates, and because pensions bites on so many deals, you'll get pulled into the corporate transactions, restructurings and employment matters running through the wider firm.

There's real responsibility on offer - your own client relationships, a seat at the table on business development, and room to build a specialism, at a level that scales with where you are in your PQE.

Pensions sits deliberately close to the Employment, Corporate, Commercial, Banking and Financial Services teams here, so you're building integrated, cross-practice work from day one - and the team's collegiate reputation is a big part of why people stay.
