Science Teacher Location: Worcester September 2027 start Alternative Provision setting A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Science Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in the Worcester area for the Autumn Term. This is a full‑responsibility role, ideal for a teacher who thrives in a nurturing, relationship‑focused environment and is confident supporting pupils with additional social, emotional, or behavioural needs. About the Setting This Alternative Provision offers a highly supportive, therapeutic environment for young people who require a more personalised approach to learning. Class sizes are small, behaviour is managed through strong relationships, and staff work closely to ensure every student can succeed. The Role Deliver engaging KS3-KS4 Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics Plan, prepare and assess in line with full teaching responsibilities Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varied learning profiles Build positive, consistent relationships to support behaviour and engagement Work collaboratively with a small, supportive team including pastoral staff Contribute to the wider school community and uphold safeguarding standardsWhat We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Science at secondary level Confidence working with pupils who may present SEMH needs A resilient, compassionate and adaptable teaching style Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skillsWhy This Role?
