Planning Engineer (Oil and Gas)

Planning Engineer Kingston upon Thames - Hybrid Working £60-£65 an hour + Outside IR35 + Hybrid Working + Flexible Hours + 12-Month Contract Are you an experienced Planning Engineer with a background in offshore projects and strong knowledge of Primavera P6? This is an excellent opportunity to join a global engineering and construction business working within its Offshore Wind division, supporting complex energy projects and helping deliver the transition towards Net Zero. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining project schedules, particularly through tendering and project planning phases, whilst working closely with project controls and wider project teams. The role offers a 12-month contract, Outside IR35 and hybrid working, with the opportunity to work on major international offshore energy projects. The Role Develop and maintain project schedules in line with contractual and internal requirements Support planning activities across tendering and project phases Identify, analyse and report schedule deviations and potential delays Develop and maintain 90-day look-ahead, weekly and monthly schedules Support project controls and preparation of project status reports Provide time impact analysis for contract amendments and claims Support project risk management and schedule risk analysisThe Person 5-10 years' experience in planning/project controls Background within Offshore Oil & Gas, ideally Offshore Wind Experience planning tendering phases, T&I and/or EPCI projects Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 Experience with Microsoft Project HNC, HND or Bachelor's degreeRise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
