Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting pupils with complex Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Looking for a rewarding but challenging role where your skills and resilience can make a real difference?

We're recruiting a dedicated and resilient ASD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND provision in Rochdale on a full-time, ongoing basis, starting after October half term.
This role is suited to someone with proven experience supporting learners with complex ASD who understands the challenges of working in a specialist setting and can remain calm, consistent and positive in demanding situations.

The Role:

* Providing tailored support to pupils with complex ASD and additional needs.
* Supporting learners with communication, emotional regulation, engagement and daily routines.
* Responding calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviour, following individual support plans and school policies.
* Supporting pupils with personal care and physical needs where required.
* Implementing strategies that promote safety, positive behaviour, independence and wellbeing.
* Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care and education.
