Job ref: 21765Location: United KingdomContract: PermanentSalary: 70,000 per yearSector: IT and DigitalPosted: Consultant: Matthew Ledger ApplyWe’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a growing product team and play a key role in translating customer needs and business priorities into clear, actionable delivery.You’ll own and continuously refine the product backlog, working closely with Product Management, Agile delivery teams and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritise work and ensure the team is focused on delivering maximum value.Key responsibilitiesOwn, manage and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and customer needsTranslate strategic objectives into epics, features and user storiesPlan and support sprints and product releasesWork closely with technical and business teams to clarify requirements and make day-to-day scope decisionsRepresent the customer throughout product developmentManage and influence a broad range of stakeholdersIdentify and resolve impediments impacting deliveryCommunicate progress, risks and priorities clearly across the businessSupport products through implementation and ongoing developmentAbout youWe’re looking for someone with:Previous Product Owner experience in an Agile environmentInsurance or financial services experienceStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsProven experience managing and prioritising product backlogsStrong requirements gathering and documentation skillsThe ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teamsExcellent organisation and the ability to manage competing prioritiesConfidence to challenge, make decisions and take ownershipA customer-focused approach and a genuine drive for continuous improvement
