So, if you want to be bold in the pursuit of your ambitions, bring new ideas, and challenge and evolve what we do, it’s the perfect time to join us!About the RoleLevel - 4Department- Internal AuditLocation - London/ SouthamptonContract – PermanentRegulated/Non-Regulated: Non-RegulatedThis role supports the delivery of IT and business audits across Quilter’s Internal Audit Plan, helping protect the organisation’s assets, reputation, and sustainability.You will assess whether key risks are appropriately identified, reported, and effectively controlled, while identifying opportunities to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls.The focus is on Technology audits (applications, infrastructure, thematic reviews) and related areas including cyber security, third-party risk, data privacy, and operational resilience.As a GIA Audit Specialist, you will deliver audits end-to-end, working to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAudit DeliveryDeliver audits across planning, fieldwork, and reportingEngage stakeholders to understand processes and key risksPerform risk-focused testing and root cause analysisProduce clear, practical audit findings and recommendationsKeep stakeholders informed and build strong working relationshipsDeliver work in line with methodology, timelines, and budgetsOther GIA ActivitiesPerform quarterly Issue Assurance reviewsSupport risk monitoring and audit planningReview business MI (e.g. financials, incidents, complaints)Contribute to team initiatives, including continuous improvement and use of data/analyticsAbout YouExperience in a risk and controls-focused role (e.g. Internal/External Audit, Risk, or Compliance)Good understanding of IT and business risk and controls within Wealth and Asset ManagementKnowledge of relevant Technology and Security regulations, frameworks, and best practicesSolid understanding of IT General Controls (e.g. access, change management, IT operations)Ability to clearly articulate audit findings in a business contextIdeally holds a relevant qualification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CRISC, ACA, ACCA, IMC, CFA or similar)Desirable:Experience in third-party risk, business continuity, cyber security, and data/privacy controlsExposure to auditing emerging technologies, IT infrastructure, and disaster recoveryExperience using data analytics in audit testing#LI-KH1Inclusion & DiversityWe value diversity and strive to promote inclusivity in all aspects of our culture.
