Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer 📍 Central London 💰 £45,000 – £48,000 Basic Salary 🕒 Full-Time | Monday – Friday The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a professional building services maintenance team covering commercial properties across Central London. This role will involve travelling between multiple commercial office buildings and mixed-use properties carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and general building services maintenance across landlord M&E systems. We are specifically looking for engineers with either a mechanical or electrical trade bias, combined with solid commercial maintenance experience within occupied buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across high-profile Central London sites. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial buildings * Fault finding and repairs across electrical and mechanical building services systems * Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, emergency lighting, and associated plant * Plant room inspections and monitoring of building services equipment * Carry out minor plumbing, fabric, and general maintenance works where required * Respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple sites * Complete maintenance records and compliance paperwork accurately * Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures Requirements * Previous experience within commercial building maintenance * Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification/background * Strong all-round M&E maintenance knowledge * Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within occupied commercial buildings * Good fault-finding ability across building services systems * Client-facing with strong communication skills * Reliable, organised, and able to work independently across multiple sites Desirable * 18th edition if electrically bias * Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification * Experience within foot mobile maintenance roles * Basic knowledge of BMS systems Package ✅ £45,000 – £48,000 basic salary ✅ Monday to Friday working hours ✅ Central London portfolio ✅ Stable long-term opportunity ✅ Exposure to high-profile commercial buildings ✅ Professional and supportive engineering team If you are a mechanically or electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with commercial building maintenance experience looking for your next foot mobile opportunity, we’d like to hear from you
