Technical Project Lead – Medical Devices Medical Device Experience Essential Location: Norfolk Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience Reporting to: Head of Programmes The Opportunity We are supporting an innovative organisation within the medical device sector in the search for a Technical Project Lead. This role will take ownership of assigned development programmes and project workstreams, coordinating cross-functional activities from concept through to industrialisation and manufacturing transfer. Working closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing partners and suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards. This position would suit an individual with a medical device development background who has progressed into project leadership and enjoys driving programme delivery within a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Lead assigned project workstreams across medical device development programmes. Coordinate activities across engineering, quality, suppliers and manufacturing partners. Drive project timelines, actions, risks and technical deliverables. Facilitate project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders. Support verification, qualification, industrialisation and manufacturing transfer activities. Maintain project and development documentation in line with quality system requirements. Identify and help resolve technical and operational issues impacting delivery. Engage with suppliers, manufacturing partners and customers to support programme execution. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project and engineering processes. Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience within the medical device industry. Experience leading or coordinating technical projects across the product development lifecycle. Strong understanding of medical device development, verification, industrialisation and manufacturing transfer activities. Knowledge of design controls and quality management systems within a regulated environment. Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Desirable Experience working with combination products.
