Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a growing Private Markets reporting team within a wider Asset Management Financial Reporting function. This newly created role reflects continued expansion following recent acquisition activity and sustained organic growth, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing and collaborative team. You will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting while gaining exposure to a broad range of entities and financial data in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting month-end processes including preparing accounting journals, accruals and foreign currency adjustments across multiple entities
- Producing monthly reporting packs and analysing performance drivers across the business
- Reviewing management accounts and financial information provided by third parties
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating unexpected variances with relevant teams
- Assisting with consolidation activities for group reporting requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams, clients and outsource providers to provide financial insights and context
- Supporting tax reporting by working with corporation tax and VAT specialists and preparing draft tax computations
- Assisting in preparing statutory accounts and responding to auditor and stakeholder queries within agreed deadlines
Who we’re looking for:
- Progressing towards an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Demonstrating strong Excel and broader IT skills
- Showing experience of working with multiple accounting systems
- Communicating clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Taking a proactive and organised approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines
- Applying sound accounting knowledge within a strong financial control environment
- Building collaborative relationships across finance and wider business teams
- Demonstrating problem‑solving ability and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
