Job Summary

As a Practice Nurse, you will provide attentive, practical care to patients and support their wellbeing through safe, clear communication. You will use your clinical knowledge and sound judgement to respond to patient needs, follow appropriate care processes and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Duties

* Assess patients’ needs, provide patient care and explain procedures in a calm, considerate manner.

* Administer medication safely, following relevant procedures and recording care accurately.

Experience

Required: Practical patient care skills, knowledge of anatomy and the ability to administer medication safely and accurately are essential to carrying out the duties. Clear communication, careful record-keeping and a considerate approach help you respond to patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Preferred: Relevant experience in a practice nursing or comparable patient-care setting, with strengths in explaining care and working as part of a clinical team
