About the role

£45,000 + Door-to-door pay | Overtime available | Commercial sites only We are looking for an experienced Gate Engineer to join a well established company, working across commercial and industrial sites. This is a service and repair role, there is no installation work required. You’ll be out on the road looking after a range of equipment including: * Automatic gates * Swing and sliding gates * Barriers * Automatic bollards * Turnstiles * Access control * Gate motors and control panels * Safety edges and photocells The work will be a mixture of PPM, breakdowns, servicing, fault finding and repairs. You’ll also be carrying out Gate Safety checks and identifying any further remedial work needed. We’re looking for somebody who already has experience within the automatic gate / perimeter security industry and is comfortable fault finding both electrical and mechanical issues. Experience with Gate Safety, DHF and BS EN 12453 would be ideal, along with experience working on manufacturers such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, Nice, Beninca or similar. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, dealing with customers on site and managing your own workload. A full UK driving licence is required.
