What you will be doing:

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for automotive engineering and vehicle technology to begin their career within a high-performance automotive environment. Working alongside experienced technicians and engineers, you will support the assembly of performance vehicle components and assemblies.

The successful candidate will be involved across a variety of projects while developing valuable technical and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and installation of automotive and motorsport assemblies.
  
• Follow engineering drawings, technical specifications, and assembly procedures.
  
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet required standards.
  
• Support vehicle preparation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
  
• Diagnose and report assembly issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment.
  
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to meet project deadlines.
  

About You

Essential Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Strong interest in automotive technology and performance vehicles.
  
• Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  

• Previous hands-on experience through university projects, placements, internships, or personal automotive projects.
  
• Familiarity with workshop tools and equipment.
  
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, engines, drivetrains, and suspension components.
  
• Understanding of quality control and manufacturing processes.
