Catering Assistant with DBS -- Liverpool and surrounding

Have you previously worked as Catering assistant? Do you have a Current enhanced DBS? Looking for work around school hours? Can you work at least 4 days between Monday - Friday Can start immediately ? Are you an experienced Catering Assistant looking for flexible weekday work? We are recruiting reliable and hardworking individuals to support kitchens within schools and care homes across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. You'll be working as part of a small, friendly team, helping chefs deliver an efficient lunchtime service and ensuring meals are prepared and served smoothly for students and residents. Evidence of previous roles delivering this would be required to assess suitability to the role As the hours set to specific days and hours - we are looking for people to commit to this therefore if you are a student - please only apply if you can work at least 4 days per week between 9.30am - 2.30pm As an experienced catering - kitchen assistant you will already have a good idea of your responsibilities - and be familiar with the following - Assisting the chef with food preparation - Supporting the smooth running of lunchtime service - Washing dishes and kitchen equipment - Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene - General kitchen and catering support As you'll be working with an established team - you will be expected to blend into this seamlessly and deliver the role as efficiently as no 2 locations are the same Pay: £12.71 per hour For Immediate work we would require * Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) dated within the last 12 months * Minimum 6 months' UK catering or kitchen experience * Available to work Monday to Friday * Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team As you will previously have worked as a catering assistant you will already hold a food safety certificate - although we will support you in obtaining a * Level 2 Food Safety Certificate All potential staff will be interviewed for the role and refs will be required.
