This is a crucial role in supporting with month end and you will be required to deputise for the Finance Manager when required. Your key responsibilities will be: Prepare and post journals including payroll, accruals, prepayments and reallocations. Ownership of monthly and intercompany reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Assist with monitoring cash flow movements and supporting cash forecasting. Supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation of statutory accounts. Prepare bank reconciliations and support daily cash postings. Management of business overhead control process including setting annual targets. VAT return preparation, including reconciling VAT control accounts. Maintain the fixes asset register. Support continuous improvement of processes, controls and reporting.
