About this opportunityOur Capital Allowances team is market-leading, providing advisory, operational, technological and compliance services to many clients across various sectors, with a focus on maximising tax relief on capital expenditure. We advise across all aspects of capital allowances across a broad range of clients with the team, and our clients, all across the country.As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and career-focused professional to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their skills, take on new challenges, and build a rewarding career. The role can be based from our London, Cardiff, or Manchester offices.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Client relationship and business development - Build relationships with clients and collaborate with Gleeds teams to identify opportunities for clients to maximise their capital allowances claims. Innovative solutions and high-quality advice - Provide tailored advice on capital allowances across all reliefs and develop bespoke solutions for clients to optimise their tax relief on capital expenditures.Team leadership and development - Manage and mentor team members, foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to ensure high-quality service delivery.Industry engagement and continuous learning - Stay updated on legislation changes related to capital allowances and leverage technology to solve client problems and improve service efficiencyAs a Gleeds team member, you will have access to:Opportunities to develop and grow your career A contributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible working arrangementsWho we’re looking for:Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
Proficient in capital allowances technicalities and analysis, with experience dealing with a range of clients and various scenarios within the property life cycle.Strong analytical skills to identify and maximise tax relief opportunities for clients. Effective communicator, both written and oral, committed to teamwork and delivering excellent client service.Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Strong project management, prioritisation, and self-organisation skills.Qualifications
MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or working towards via the Taxation allowances route or ACCA or ATT is preferable
