Set within 7,000 acres of stunning landscapes, woodland and heritage buildings, Penicuik Estate has been cared for by the same family since 1654. Today, the estate is writing its next chapter, creating an exceptional luxury hospitality destination where guests enjoy exclusive stays in Penicuik House, beautifully restored cottages and houses, and unforgettable events.

We're looking for a Head Housekeeper who takes immense pride in creating immaculate spaces and memorable guest experiences. Someone who understands that in luxury hospitality, every detail matters.

The Opportunity

You'll lead housekeeping across the estate, ensuring every property and event space is presented to the highest possible standard. Working closely with our hospitality team and cleaning partners, you'll help build and develop a best-in-class housekeeping function that grows alongside the estate's exciting ambitions.

This is a hands-on leadership role. xwzovoh One moment you'll be setting standards and coordinating operations, the next you'll be turning around a cottage, preparing for VIP arrivals or adding those thoughtful finishing touches that turn a stay into a lasting memory.

Key Requirements:

• Has experience in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, country houses or premium private residences
• Leads by example and inspires high standards in others
• Has an exceptional eye for presentation and detail
• Thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
