Data Migration Consultant Fully Remote, Permanent, Full-time £35,000 – £40,000 + benefits About the Opportunity: We’re recruiting for a Data Migration Consultant to join a fast-growing organisation delivering data solutions to public sector clients in the UK. This is a Data Migration Consultant role where you’ll mainly be working with SQL to move and transform data between systems. A big part of the job is helping clients migrate their data from older systems into newer platforms, making sure everything is cleaned, mapped correctly, and accurate. You’ll also do data validation and fix any issues during the migration process. It’s quite technical and hands-on, and you’ll be working closely with other data and technical teams to make sure everything runs smoothly. Roles and Responsibilities: * Delivering end-to-end data migration projects across multiple client systems * Using SQL to extract, transform, and validate data (ETL processes) * Performing data mapping between legacy systems and target platforms (including Salesforce) * Carrying out data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks * Supporting go-live and post-migration validation activities * Working closely with technical teams to improve data processes and documentation Your Skills and Experience: * Proven experience in data migration projects * Strong SQL skills within ETL / data transformation environments * Experience working with structured datasets and data validation * Understanding or exposure to Salesforce data or CRM systems * Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail * Ability to communicate technical data concepts clearly This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a fast-paced, technical data environment.
